TED Chandran Repairing the brain


Can we get repair in MS? Heres an old TED (Click on Old Ted for  a working link to the video)  from our 
Friend Dr Chandran from Edinburgh who has been leading 
some of the UK effort in this Area.

  1. Mr Mouse, I asked you in Manchester 2012 if the brain was capable of repairing itself and you said no, or at least I think you said it learns to bypass the damage?
    I said I found that very hard to believe, is this clip bringing us any closer ? I HOPE so.

    1. Sorry for any confusion, I meant "I found it hard to believe the brain wasn't capable of healing itself", ( given the right conditions)

    2. It has mechanisms that stop nerve regrowth there has to be a good reason for this

  3. I am not an expert. I have seen some growth in spinal injury but it is limited
