Happy Xmas Card

It is that time of the year again and the multi-national nature of TeamG comes to the fore as members begin to spread around the globe to visit family and friends.

Being Poor Students and Post-Docs they can't afford the luxury of waiting until 24th December for a flight as the bankers have booked them all. Plus we have been given this day off by our Bosses anyway.

Whilst some members of Team G may have access to the internet, others may not ,and some will be restricted to the smart phone. So if you don't see the response you were hoping for don't be despondent.

Although we hope to have posts to the new year, we may be slow to post comments or respond. Please accept our apologies on this.

We generate no income from the Blog and typically do not advertise. However, as a thanks for the loan of the costumes and music.

Follow the link to the House of Mouse for those New year Pressies........too late for Chrimbo. Anything on the Advent calendar and more!

  1. The English go insane at Christmas, don't they?

You need a national event to take pride in, like a U.K. Thanksgiving which all y'all can get involved in.

    1. I fear that the UK will start celebrating Thanksgiving soon but won't know why they're doing it. We're lemmings.

    2. Oh yes, anonymous 3.42pm I agree with you, in fact I think it has already started this year with Amazon marketing.

I'm not sure the "English go insane at Christmas", anymore than the US do,- anonymous at 12.16pm

    3. Maybe, the British take pride in the notion that we can enjoy Christmas, Eid, Divali, Chanukah and Chinese New Year if we want to.
Why would we need Thanksgiving?. We're very thankful for the NHS and it's doctors, nurses and scientists, maybe we should have NHS day free at the point of need. GP referred me on Friday seen today by Consultant can't l
