Royal London MSers: The Outpatient Experience

FINAL CALL - 3 PLACES LEFT! PLEASE HELP.

MS Outpatient Future Groups: Improving the outpatient experience for people with Multiple Sclerosis using focus groups to envisage the future.*

We would like to invite you to take part in a research study being carried out by a researcher working with Professor Giovannoni at Queen Mary University of London. The purpose of this study is to produce information for people with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), on what they can expect when they visit their outpatient appointment. This information will be developed from staff and patient focus groups discussing the Patient Experience of the Outpatient Department at The Royal London Hospital.

We are very interested to hear *your experiences* of the Outpatient Department at The Royal London Hospital.

If you would like to take part in the study, you would be asked to attend 3 focus groups involving other people with MS and staff members working at The Royal London Hospital Outpatient Department. You will be asked to discuss your experience of being a patient and asked to imagine what you would like your future outpatient journey to be like.

Participants need to have been diagnosed with MS and have had an appointment at The Royal London Hospital outpatient department.

This is a non-commercial study, funded by the Multiple Sclerosis Society, which is being run by a neurologist and a researcher. In the event of the research study becoming oversubscribed, then those individuals will be informed at the time of their initial enquiry that they have been unsuccessful in this instance.

*If you wish to take part or discuss the study further with a member of the research team please contact Alison Thomson : a.thomson@qmul.ac.uk.*
